I loved this phrase that Erica included in her vows as the two stood among the moss covered forest in Olympic National Park. There are so many ways that our deepest and most cherished relationships are paralleled by the way nature moves and connects within itself - one of the ways that I believe makes eloping so powerful.
This day with Eric & Erica was also a true coming together of two families. Together these two crafted not only an adventurous, intentional day for themselves, but an environment that their families got to reminisce, laugh and celebrate together.
I hope that the sounds, movement and frames throughout this film allow you to feel even a fraction of the ease and love we all got to experience that day.

Olympic National Park offers a wide range of gorgeous spots surrounded by the dramatic peaks of the Olympic Mountains to elope with your loved one. The park itself has four regions including the Pacific coastline, alpine areas, temperate rainforest, and drier forests which allows for a variety of options when picking an elopement spot within the park. Eric and Erika picked a peaceful, intimate spot on the shores of Lake Crescent for their ceremony and then had a dreamy dinner reception tucked away in the middle of the forest. Lastly, we took one more trip back out to the pier on the lake during sunset for a few more bridal portraits before the light faded amidst the surrounding Olympic mountains.
