PNW Wedding at Snoqualmie Point Park
Wildflower Inspired Wedding
Isabella and Colton’s wildflower inspired wedding was one I will never forget. It was a bright July day—full of warmth, love, and laughter. Keep reading if you want to see one of the best dance floors I’ve ever seen, an incredible Pacific Northwest backdrop for their emotional ceremony, and the most beautiful DIY details. It was an amazing day and I felt honored to document each of those feelings for them to look back on year after year.
Intentional DIY details
There’s something to be said about putting together certain details of your wedding yourself. It’s more time consuming, of course, but can be so rewarding. Isabella did all the florals for their wedding, and I must say—the colorful blooms looked stunning against their stunning venue at Snoqualmie Point Park.
From the bridesmaids’ earthy, colorful dresses to their elegant bouquets, everything worked so well together, and felt like it was a true representation of their special day. It’s pretty amazing to see something put together from conception to reality, but even more beautiful when it’s you creating something for your own wedding. That’s one of my favorite aspects about Isabella and Colton’s emotional wedding at Snoqualmie Point Park.
A breathtaking ceremony
Isabella and Colton decided to forgo a first look in favor of seeing each other for the first time during the ceremony. This is always a powerful moment, and Colton’s reaction didn’t disappoint—he was in awe of her. In addition, their ceremony had this stunning panoramic view of the mountains behind them for their intimate wedding. Their ceremony contained genuine laughter, communion, a song performed by their bridal party members, and oh so much joy.

Let’s talk about the dance floor
People seem to think of wedding music as an afterthought, but Isabella and Colton’s intimate wedding in the park shared the contrary viewpoint. Wedding songs matter, folks. Yes, you’ll generally hear the same top-100 wedding songs at weddings, but if you want you, and ultimately your guests, to find your dancing shoes curating a playlist makes the world of difference. Seriously, the dancing was off the charts.
Golden Hour
Once the dancing started to slow down we took the opportunity to take these two out for some sunset photos. Snoqualmie Point Park offers sweeping views of the Cascades and Snoqualmie Pass, so it was only fitting to use this PNW beauty to our advantage. The incredible landscapes were great, but seeing how excited Isabella and Colton were to simply be there with each other was even betterl.
Flower Petal Send Off
Of course, I have to talk about their send off. A simple thing to have at your wedding is to have guests line up and throw some petals, lavender, or even blow bubbles while you walk to your ride. It’s a simple exit but adds just once more intentional element to your day. These two embodied that feeling of just-married bliss walking to their 4Runner together through the flower petals flying.
The best part of this day wasn’t the wedding songs, sunset photos, petal exit, or DIY flowers; it was that everyone involved seemed to be a huge part of Isabella and Colton’s story, and these two made a point to make them feel as such. By the end of this day I didn’t feel like a vendor attending an event – I felt like a genuine friend who was invited to be there. They welcomed me for their special day and I still feel honored to have experienced it with them.
